Oloid Roller
The oloid — a mathematical solid that rolls in a mesmerising wobble. Desk sculpture, conversation piece and surprisingly good cat toy in one.
About this print
The oloid is a genuine mathematical curiosity: a solid formed from two interlocking circles that, when pushed, rolls its entire surface along the table in a hypnotic side-to-side wobble. On a desk it reads as minimal geometric sculpture; in motion it stops conversations; on the floor it turns out to be a shockingly effective cat toy. Nearly 15,000 documented makes at 4.63★. Printed in a single color with no supports — smooth faces, crisp edges, and that impossible-looking roll straight off the printer.
